The Provost and Dean of Shepherds Theological Seminary administers the academic policies and procedures expressed on this web site. These academic policies are established by the Faculty Council under the authority of the Board of Directors. Shepherds reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to review, modify, amend, alter, rescind, abolish, or delete any provision of this site or of any other catalogs, policies, publications, or statements of the seminary, and includes admission or graduation standards, degree requirements, and accreditation of academic programs. The information in this catalog applies to the academic year 2015-2016 only. Whereas the most current version online is always operative, students may take advantage of any improvements that appear in later catalogs while they are enrolled. A student who withdraws from enrollment for more than one academic year will be required to re-enter under the catalog current at the time of readmission. Shepherds reserves the right to require a student to withdraw from enrollment at any time.
The degree programs offered by this institution do not guarantee the necessary qualifications for licensure or ordination to the ministry in any church, denomination, or religious group. Students are responsible for contacting and approaching church leaders to discover the role Seminary degrees may play in the overall preparation and qualifications for specific ministries. Shepherds has made a good faith effort to avoid typographical errors and other mistakes in the statements of policy as published in this catalog. Erroneous catalog statements do not take precedence over properly adopted policies on record within the Seminary. Questions concerning the current status of all academic matters should be addressed to the Registrar.
