Thank you for your interest in joining Route 66 online. We are pleased to offer the class each morning via live stream for those who are unable to attend class in person. This online option is designed for both the in-class student who is sick or traveling and for the student for whom it is impossible to be in the physical classroom. Our desire is to have students in the classroom rather than online whenever possible, but we understand that certain circumstances render this impossible.
Students who are approved to live stream Route 66 will be asked to join the class using the following requirements. Specific instructions on installing and using the Zoom live stream platform will be sent out as the class draws near. The following requirements are designed to protect the learning experience for the individual student, other online students, and the in-person class. They are designed to replicate the in-class experience as much as possible.
I understand that participation in Route 66 is a privilege, not a right, and that students may be expelled from the course at the discretion of the Route 66 Director and Chief Academic Officer. Situations that may be subject to expulsion include but are not limited to divisiveness, illegal behavior, and verbal or sexual harassment and misconduct.
