Convocation 2024

Convocation at Shepherds Theological Seminary is a time of celebration as we begin another academic year of theological education and ministry training. The Board of Directors, faculty, staff, students, families, and friends gathered Saturday night, August 10, on Shepherds’ main campus in Cary, NC, with nine other teaching sites joining the ceremony via livestream. These are exciting times of growth and we are thrilled to announce 290 students are enrolled for the upcoming fall semester! Dr. Timothy Miller, Academic Dean, welcomed the assembly and followed our convocation tradition by highlighting the testimony of a great servant of the Lord from generations past. This year Dr. Miller shared the triumphs and trials of Charles Spurgeon, a faithful minister who understood firsthand both the mountain peaks and valleys of the Christian life.
