J. Randall Prices serves as Visiting Professor in the Biblical Archaeology department. Formerly, he was a Distinguished research professor of Biblical & Judaic Studies at Liberty University from 2007-2022 before retiring in 2022. He is founder and president of World of the Bible Ministries, an organization specializing in research and communication of information about the ancient and modern world of the Bible.  

From 1999-2007, he served as Professor of Biblical Archaeology and Ancient History, at Trinity Southwest University in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Additionally, since 2007, he has been serving as an Adjunct Professor, in the Ph.D. program in Biblical Archaeology, at Veritas International University in Murietta, California.

Dr. Price has been involved in archaeological excavation at Tel-Yin’am, Jerusalem, and is currently Director of excavations at the Qumran plateau (since 2002), site of the Dead Sea Scroll community. He is a sought-after speaker for conferences worldwide and appears on numerous talk shows and television and radio programs as an expert on the Middle East. He has led more than 70 tours to the lands of the Bible and is a certified Christian tour guide in Israel.
