Shepherds Celebrates 20th Commencement

Cary, NC – On May 17, 2026, Shepherds Theological Seminary celebrated its 20th Commencement Ceremony. The event was held in the Chapel of The Shepherd’s Church with record attendance of over 600 people, filling the room to full capacity. This was the largest graduating class in the history of the seminary with 65 graduates.

Founded in 2003, Shepherd’s Theological Seminary began with an inaugural class of 26 students. Since then, God has continued to bring faithful men and women desiring to become servant-leaders in ministry.  This year’s graduate degrees conferred include:

  • 33 Master of Theological Studies
  • 12 Master of Divinity
  • 9 Doctor of Ministry
  • 6 Master of Arts in Christian Ministry
  • 4 Master of Theology
  • 1 Master of Arts in Biblical Studies

Shepherds Theological Seminary is fully accredited by the Association of Theological Schools and offers 11 degrees, along with Diploma and Graduate Certificate programs.
