Alumni Resources

It is the mission of Shepherds’ Alumni Association to inform, connect, and support alumni in a pursuit of God’s call and commission. For His glory, the Association motivates and strengthens the body of STS graduates as they engage with Shepherds in a relationship of mutual edification and service. To that end, we have a variety of resources here for our alumni to benefit from. We also desire to highlight various graduates in the ministries where God has placed them for the purpose of fostering networking, prayer, and encouragement.



Alumni Awards

It was with great pleasure that Dr. Andrew Burggraff, VP of Enrollment Services and Strategic Initiatives at Shepherds Theological Seminary presented this year’s Servant Leader Award to Paul Parido during the annual Shepherds alumni banquet. Each year the Servant Leader Award is presented to an alumnus who exemplifies the ideals of a servant leader, sacrificially giving of both time and effort to invest God’s Word in the lives of others and to shepherd them toward a closer walk with Christ.

Paul serves as the senior pastor of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Rocky Mount, Virginia as well as chaplain for the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department. In addition, Paul teaches theology for the Rocky Mount Bible Institute. He is the husband to Morgan who holds a dual bachelor’s degree in Bible and Elementary Education and homeschools their four children, Titus, Henry, Elizabeth, and James.
