Rob Hall — Class of 2027
Married to Rose Hall
Chidren: Levi
Where and how did you grow up?
I grew up with my two younger sisters and was raised by my parents Robert and Crystal Hall. I enjoyed playing baseball on the weekends and fishing whenever I could get the chance.
What life circumstances or situations did God use to create in you a desire for pastoral ministry?
After an untimely medical separation from the Navy in 2022, I began to seek out greater meaning in life through Bible reading and prayer. In June of 2023, the Lord saved me out of a life of sin and self destructive behavior. Since then, I have felt the desire to tell others about the grace and mercy of God that is found only in His Son, Jesus Christ.
How do you anticipate seminary helping you specifically to prepare for ministry?
Since spring of 2024, my seminary experience has challenged me to lay aside sinful habits, cultivate a genuine love for the Savior and in turn cultivate a love for God’s people. Moving forward in the Cohort program, my desire is to be prepared for the challenges that accompany life-on-life ministry. I anticipate that by the end of my training I will be fully equipped to serve as a faithful under-shepherd for King Jesus.
What kind of ministry, people group, or geographical area are you passionate about or planning to be involved in after graduating and why?
I am passionate about evangelism and discipleship to people in my generation. If afforded the opportunity to pastor a church, I will strive to equip the body of Christ for the effective witness of the pure Gospel to all people.
