Les Lofquist

Assistant Professor of Practical Theology



Dr. Les Lofquist serves the seminary as Director of Church Relations and Assistant Professor of Practical Theology. He comes after completing a twenty-year commitment to serve as Executive Director of the IFCA International where he edited VOICE Magazine and served over 1,500 churches, pastors, Christian workers, chaplains, mission agencies, and eight Bible colleges and seminaries in 27 countries.


He holds a Diploma in Missions from Grand Rapids School of Bible and Music, now Cornerstone University (Grand Rapids, MI); a B.A. and M.Div. from Grace College and Seminary (Winona Lake, IN); and the D.D. from Calvary Bible College and Theological Seminary (Kansas City, MO). He has served as a church planter, visiting seminary professor, and senior pastor. He and his wife Miriam are excited to serve together at Shepherds and Colonial.


Dr. Lofquist is a sought after speaker for churches and pastors conferences as well as a lecturer at colleges and seminaries throughout the country as he represents Shepherds.
