Shepherds 360 Regional Fellowship Meets January 31

The next Shepherds 360 Regional Fellowship meeting will take place on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at The Shepherd’s Church.

The topic for the day will be “Tackling Life’s Tough Problems: Wisdom from Ecclesiastes.” The speaker will be Dr. Sam Horn, Pastor of Preaching & Vision at Palmetto Baptist Church, Piedmont, SC. Sam has served in various roles as professor, vice president, and president at Bob Jones University, Northland International University, Central Baptist Theological Seminary, and The Master’s University and Seminary.

Any shepherd of God’s flock knows that sooner or later, he will have to help sheep navigate the complexities of life in a culture and context where the Word of God may seem to offer little in the way of clear answers or meaningful help. Wisdom for such times is often located in the overarching narrative of Scripture more than in a particular verse or passage. One such place is the book of Ecclesiastes. Often quoted, frequently misunderstood, and even more rarely preached, this book actually provides an amazing superstructure by which God’s people can navigate the pain and confusing of life safely and joyfully.

Join us for a morning of theological and expositional conversation on how to preach through this important portion of God’s Word.

A Brief History of Fundamentalism
