Biblical Eschatology

Shepherds Theological Seminary’s mission is to equip servant leaders for life and ministry no matter the
path our students take following graduation. At Shepherds, our faculty are not only committed to fulfilling
our mission statement—they have moved beyond their classrooms at Shepherds to provide continuing
educational references for alumni and pastors within the local church. Some professors have published
books, articles, podcasts, and YouTube channels where you can find interviews or teaching videos on
various theological topics.

Most recently, author and professor Dr. Michael J. Vlach expanded his teaching scope beyond his
Shepherds classroom and the books he has authored, such as He Will Reign Forever, The New Creation
Model and many more. Dr. Vlach’s newest release, Biblical Eschatology, a seminary level online video
course was designed for the local church—offering pastors a new dimension for teaching small groups. It
is Dr. Vlach’s hope that this course will equip students to better understand God’s purposes in the end time
events to come, and to draw them into a deeper desire to study and understand God’s word.

In addition to Dr.’s Vlach’s teaching, the course includes a reading assignment, PowerPoints, and
discussion questions for each of the individual video sessions that make up the course. To learn more

Doctrines Related to the Bible

The doctrine of Scripture is vitally important to all Christians, for it is through the instrumentality of the Word (preached and read) that God delivers the truth about the Savior who can save us from our sins. It is through the Word (preached and read and obeyed)...

Current Issues in Trinitarian Studies

A Brief History of Fundamentalism

Back in the 1970’s when I was teaching at a Bible college, one of my students asked me, somewhat tongue in cheek, what descriptive terms he should use to describe his ministry views in order for him to be, in his words, “the top dog.” He meant, like “fundamentalist.”...
