The Shepherds Institute is excited to be leading a trip to the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter in the fall of 2021! The trip is designed for students in the Shepherds Institute and their families. Everyone gets to experience Bible history come to life through incredible exhibits in the Museum and the Ark, and everyone can enjoy many behind the scenes tours that animate Biblical truth. Students also participate in additional lectures provided by the resident PhD scholars on topics ranging from the geology of the flood, the stars, and evidence of 6-day creation and the young age of the earth. The trip is a great combination of family-friendly activities and seminary-level lectures for students.
This trip is scheduled for shortly after students cover Genesis in both the Old Testament I course and Route 66. Last year the trip did a phenomenal job of driving home the reality and importance of standing for a literal 6-day creation, a literal flood, and a young earth.
